- Sounds like a power supply problem. It's probably one of the
- integrated full wave bridge rectifiers. These are flat packs about
- the size of a sugar cube with four hefty leads coming out of the
- bottom. They are located at the right rear of the 1541.

- Check your voltages (5vdc 12vdc) and if either is low, replace both of
- the rectifiers with heavier duty units. They can be obtained at radio
- shack for about $2 each.
